Raptors, the authorized dealer of Cummins (China), established in 2015 by Mr. Jordan Wang who worked in Cummins (China) for 8 years, Jordan had been responsible for mine market for 4 years during working in Cummins china, so we have big advantages for almost all genuine Cummins generators, engine assembly and spare parts, especially for NTA855, KTA19, KTA38, KTA50, QSK60, QSX15 etc...
Principle
The Blowby Flow Sensoris installed between the air filter and the throttle body, and is used to detect the intake air volume of the engine. It is one of the sources of the basic control parameters of the electronic control system and an important component of the electronically controlled engine.
Purpose
The function of the The Blowby Flow Sensor is to detect the size of the intake air volume of the engine, and convert the intake air volume information into an electrical signal through the connection of the circuit and input it to the ECU, so that the ECU can determine the fuel injection amount and ignition time. The intake air volume signal obtained by the Blowby Flow Sensor is the main basis for the ECU to perform fuel injection control. If it is damaged or its circuit connection fails, the measurement of the intake air volume of the engine will be inaccurate, and the mixed Blowby Flow Sensor entering the cylinder will be inaccurate. The function is to detect the size of the intake air volume of the engine, and convert the intake air volume information into an electrical signal through the connection of the circuit and input it to the ECU, so that the ECU can determine the fuel injection amount and ignition time. The intake air volume signal obtained by the Blowby Flow Sensor is the main basis for the ECU to perform fuel injection control. If it is damaged or its circuit connection is faulty, the measurement of the intake air volume of the engine will be inaccurate, and the mixture entering the cylinder will be too rich or too. Too lean, so that the ECU cannot accurately control the fuel injection amount, resulting in the engine not running normally and the exhaust emissions exceeding the standard.
